Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary

Netravali wildlife sanctuary is situated at south Goa district (South Eastern) which spread in 211 kilometers square land. It is tributary of the Zuari River. The sanctuary has semi and ever green trees which make its dense forest. Its nearest sanctuaries are Dandeli-Anshi Tiger Reserve, Karnataka, Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park and Bhimgad Wildlife Sanctuary, Karnataka. This sanctuary is famous to different types of the animals like Gaur, Ratufa indica, Tetracerus quadricornis and leopard. Its famous birds are Malayan night heron, Nilgiri wood pigeon, pied hornbill, grey-headed bulbul, white-bellied treepie and rufous babbler. Good time to visit Netravali wildlife sanctuary October to March.
Tourists should carry along with the following things such as Mosquito repellent, torch, walking stick or pole, fresh readymade food.
Nearest other attractions are Netravali Buddling Lake, Santeri Temple, Tanshikar Spice Farm and Ajab Bar Restaurant and Netra Tourist Guest house.
