Maha Shivaratri

Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu religion people festival. This festival is dedicated to Lord Shiva and goddess Parvati. Maha Shivaratri is a marriage anniversary day of the Lord Shiva and goddess Parvati.
This day comes between February / March months every year. According the Hindu calendar Maha Shivaratri celebrated on the Krishna Paksha Chaturdashi on Maagha month.
Devotees fast full day and go to temple to prayer Lord Shiva. They called "Om Namah Shivaya" mantra to remember to Lord Shiva. Goa people celebrate Mahashivratri festival with full passion. People fasting and go to Lord Shiva tample to prayer; they also sing songs to Lordh Shiva and goddess Parvati to midenight.
