Coconut Tree Crop

Coconut cultivation is the third largest crop in Goa state. It is cultivated in 25,100 hectare land. It productivity per year is 4,868 nuts/ha. Farmers grow multispecies cropping systems which include banana, ginger, pineapple and vegetables. So, this is a Coconut crop low production reason.

Location : Bardez, Bicholim, Pernem, Ponda, Sattari, Tiswadi, Dharbandora, Canacona, Mormugao, Salcette, Sanguem and Quepem.
