Cashew Nuts

Cashew nuts dry food was come in India by Portuguese ruler’s period between 1560 and 1565. Cashew nut is cultivated in 50,000 hectare land area in Goa state which production is 27,000 tones per year. Cashew productivity is approx 690 kg/ha. Goa state is export Cashew to foreigners’ countries every year. Cashew nuts are the most popular snack food in the world. This contains 10% starch of its weight.
